Open letter to all staff, stakeholders and those who are interested
Development Systems Ltd.
Christmas again?
What can I say?
Merry Christmas!
Yes - we are still going.
No - not a lot appears to have changed from all the previous comments.
So far:
We are still going - despite the crash (or part thereof).
Unlike lots of other 'safe' investments, we are still here.
When you first invested with us (me), you believed and knew that what you where getting involved with was 'different'.
So far everything we have done has been proven to be 'different'.
Background:
(1984-2000)
16 years trying to get others to see 'the vision' of what computers should be capable of, and trying to 'sell' that approach to government and corporate bodies, - no go!
(2000-2006)
6 years of getting investors involved in some of the 'by-products' of what we where going to be able to achieve, and getting a minimal system to run to 'prove' that 'the vision' was capable of working.
(2006-now)
3 years of perfecting the 'final' version of the system. A system that everyone wants (and needs) and don't even know exists.
Waiting for the 'right' social events to occur;
Waiting for the 'right' financial times to prevail.
Waiting for the 'right' customers to need our services.
Sorry folks, the waiting is over. . . . . .
We have our first two customers.
You have all waited 'VERY' patiently for 'something' to happen,
thank you all - VERY MUCH!!
Seeing as you all have waited, so long, and patiently, I would like to change your investment position!.
If there are no objections from any investors
(call me if you have,
(email roberts@devind.com - I'll send you my phone numbers or ring you))
I would like to change the investment arrangements for ALL investors to the following:
The dollar amount (in NZ$) that you invested, and the date you made your first investment
(in Robert South, Development Systems Ltd., DiscovaCam, IntCom, and all other names titles) are the two most important pieces of information needed.
In trying to come up with a system that is fair, and equitable, the following seems to be the best approach:
1-Increase the apparent amount paid dependant on length of time invested.
2-Multiply that total by a 'perserverance' figure - based on us being a new start-up, and the fact that we would like everyone to partake in the NEW enterprises that we are about to launch - (including IntCom, DiscovaCam, etc - as International Operations, not just NZ based).
We have decided on a 'perserverance' figure of 10 times . . . .
The short version: if you invested 100,000 - 100 months ago: we believe that you should receive approx 2,000,000 back for your perserverance!
If you think this is unfare or unjust - please call me
Following is a 'rough' calculator, that allows you to enter the relevant numbers and see an approximation of the amount that we are about to agree to pay out within the next five years. (or sooner, - dependant on takeup of our services).
All the amounts you have paid (some have paid 4 seperate amounts over the years) will be assumed to have been paid from the date of the very first payment.
An interest rate of 1% per month (non-compounding) will be added to the amount invested from that date.
That amount will be called the 'Total Calculated' investment.
As of April 1st 2010 the interest component will stop, and repayments will start.
The repayments will be paid into your 'local account' through our system.
If you wish to transfer the funds from your 'local account' to your personal bank account, two things will occur.
1- The amount of your 'Total Actual' Investment will be able to be repayed tax free (tax is actually already paid when you invested originally) - no tax on this amount!
2- Any amount above the 'Total Actual' amount will have to have tax paid on it, we will notify IRD (or your local tax department) that a taxable payment (the amount and date) has been made to you.
(By August we should have the ability to be able to pay the tax directly for you, from your accounts to the Inland Revenue.)
(Note:- hopefully you will use your investment returns to invest in other enterprises that will be available on the system - further note- because the amounts never left the systems internal 'local accounts' they are not notifiable, as taxable transactions!)
The following is calculated using April 2010 as the start point for payouts.
Initial payment date
Month
Year
Initial payment amount
subsequent payments - all
Total Actual - invested to date: $0.00
Total months thus far: 0
therefore:
Total Calculated - investment : $0.00
We will then pay a fixed return on your investment.
I do agree to repay the following amount.
Total that will be returned within the following 5 years: $0.00
(Note:- the repayments will be credited as transactions are performed.
The repayments will be added to your 'internal account' daily.
Some days the return amount will be just cents, other days hundreds of dollars.
We have NO control over how many transactions performed when, by whom!!).
(Note:- Once the Total has been received, the repayment account will be closed.)
If any person does not wish to partake in this 'The Final Stage' of your investment
contact me now.
There are a number of people who will be interested in purchasing your present investment.
Payback!!!!!!!!
Just a note to all those people who said what we where doing couldn't be done,
(I'm trying not to be rude - but) - BITE ME!
To all the people that believed and waited patiently - a really big:
Thank You!
Robert South
CEO, Development Systems Ltd.
ps.To those investors that have asked for more investment opportunities, please wait.
I would expect that all present investors that want to cash up now, will have contacted me by mid January 2010.
I would expect that their investment's will be available at the 'Total Calculated' rate.
The final round of funding - the LAST - will close end of January, we are seeking a further NZ$250,000.
The final round is to allow us to set up infrastructure services, and overseas sites.
Therefore the minimum opportunity available will be 250,000 plus any investors that wish to 'cash-up'.
