What is OurWorld
A distributed database, distributed management service, privacy controller and trade facilitator!
(You didn't realy want to know the above, did you?)
OurWorld is a method of allowing people to trust each other and themselves.

  - Due to varying abilities of banks to perform international transactions, currency fluctuations, trusted parties, and ownership rights, there is no tidy method of 'internationalising' the world.
  - It's ok for large corporates to buy internationaly, but not the average person.
  - People can be terrorists, but corporations can't, apparently.
  - International money laundering, terrorism, they are all NEW threats, instead of 'shoring up' the old system, design a new one.
  - Instead of saying 'If you've done nothing wrong - you have nothing to fear'. How about identifying and removing the bad ones at source?
Welcome to OurWorld.
There is a need for a service/system where people can be authorised and trusted, without being identified
OurWorld is our vision for delivering that service to all peoples of the world.
That's why its called OurWorld, its not part of their world, or the 'old-world'.

How can people become involved in the equity side of OurWorld
In short, you can't!
The entirety of OurWorld takes directions from its citizens, not a board of directors.
However, we did realise early on, that some people (those with vision & cash), may want to partake in the proceeds available from OurWorld
So we have implemented a method that allows investors to become involved with OurWorld, without the board or directors.
Just a method of Buying & Selling shares, and partaking in a piece of the income from OurWorld.
We have initiated the 'OurWorld Pool Deed'

How the Pool Deed system works:
    Dividends
    As each cent is provided to OurWorld, 1.8% of it is placed into the OurWorld Pool.
    At the end of each period (probably a month) the equivalent of the pool is divided up into 100,000,000 (one hundred million) parts.
    Each of the above 'parts' is equivalent to each share.
    Each shareholder (Dividend recipient) is notified of the appropriate amount now credited to their nominated account.
    Purchase & Sale
    Both the Buyer and Seller have previously been registered as OurWorld Citizens.
    The shares can only be bought and sold on the approved 'OurWorld Market'.
    A Share owner can put some (all/any) of their shares onto the 'Sell Page', at the price they wish to receive for their shares.
    A share purchaser looks at the 'Sell Page', and if they want to pay the 'asking' price, can click on the 'non-identifying' symbol of that seller.
    Both purchaser and seller, then meet (no names or other ids required) in an agreed 'Buy Page' and exchange our currency for the share.
    The system then updates the share registry accordingly.
    The new owner (the x purchaser) can now change details on the share registry for the shares they have purchased.
    The new owner now receives the dividends payments dated from the period following the last dividend payment.
    The seller now gets the price they asked for credited to their own OurWorld Account.
    The seller can now either buy other products or services from within OurWorld or transfer their proceeds to their 'real world' bank account.
Please Note:
Only individual people can be registered on OurWorld, consequently companies / corporations cannot buy the shares.
This doesn't preclude a company setting up a trust and the trustee buying (or selling) the shares!
- As OurWorld starts to take off - people will want to work together on a given project, they can.
- They could form an enterprise within OurWorld, and if they need funding they may also list their shares on the 'OurWorld Market'.

We need a method of implementing OurWorld currency services - in any given jurisdiction / currency

  • OurWorld Deed - Stage 1 completed, 3 more revisions to go (allowances for other jurisdictions / currencies) - in process.
  • OurWorld Pool Deed - (The operation of the Pool Deed Stewardship) - Done.

    • We need a 'non-moving' currency!
    In order to allow OurWorld to operate, we have our own internal currency, called the DIBL (short for the IBL Dollar).
    The DIBL is NOT tradeable on any international market.
    The DIBL is an external currency as far as each government / jurisdiction / currency is concerned.

    We need people to be able to trust each other
    We require people to identify themselves (our unique way), but then use their authority (not identity) to use our services.
    We require people to be accountable (or should that be accountIBL) for their own actions.
    We require people to be responsible (just drop the 'e') for their own decisions.
    We want people to be able to be authorative in their decision making, to control their own lives.
    We call this - 'Individual Sovereignty'.
    We support Individual Sovereignty through OurWorlds' Citizenship.

    We need people to use the services
    We are not going to directly advertise.
    We need people to try our services because it makes sense to.
    We need to give people twice as many reasons to join us, as they have objections.
    We need people to join as paying citizens, we need to allow them to 'play' before they 'buy'.
    (Note: People can 'play' with our services, we call them 'prospects'.
    People who supply minimal information, can be partly trusted, we call them 'members'.
    People who supply all information, can become 'citizens. This entitles them to access more services, jobs, etc)

    How do I get access to the OurWorld Pool
    At present, you can't!
    Once the legalities are approved in each jurisdiction, that country's citizens will be able to partake.
    The first country we have applied for is New Zealand.
    We hope to have it legalised by the end of September.
